BMW Z1 1/24
BMW Z1 1/24
Revell plastic model kit - The Z1 was designed as a research vehicle in 1986 and was not originally planned for mass manufacturing. The research automobile was so efficient, BMW was persuaded by the number of orders it received and began mass manufacturing. The former test vehicle was in service as of July 1989. The retractable doors on this remarkable sports vehicle were unique, in addition to the smooth lines. The Z1 had a 2.5L displacement 6-cylinder engine provided 170 horsepower and could reach a speed of 225 kmh. Only 8000 vehicles were produced through 1991 due to the required but costly handwork. The victory of the Z1 made the automobile a pioneer of the genuine roadster wave. The kit contains 104 parts and is best suited for an experienced modeler. The finished model is 167mm long.
